A special issue of Convex Analysis and Optimization (NCAO) – Volume 1 (No.1) 2022– will be dedicated to Professor Somyot Plubtieng on the occasion of his 60th anniversary.
Former Ph.D. students, colleagues, and current collaborators of Professor Somyot Pulubtieng are invited to submit a manuscript for this special issue.

Special Issue in Memory of 100 Years of Banach Contraction Principle
The Nonlinear Convex Analysis and Optimization (NCAO) will publish a special issue in honor and memory of 100 Years of Banach Contraction Principle. Although articles are currently being solicited for this special issue, unsolicited contributions are also welcome.
The issue, which will appear in Volume 1 (No.2) 2022, will cover the many facets of Banach mathematical work and persona. Submissions should be five to fifteen pages in length (though this limit is flexible), and can be biographical in nature or focus on an area of research that Banach was identified with or felt some particular affinity with. The deadline (which is not flexible) is 30th May 2022.
All submissions for this memorial issue will undergo the usual refereeing and revision processes and will be accepted for publication only after successful vetting. We also will pay particular attention to the subject matter in order to avoid potential duplication in this special issue
